The Nilofer Tube Dress is the go-to for a breezy day-out. It is made of daisy white indigenous Kala Cotton, and the flowery sunset yellow bordering elements adorned with Batik hand-block print, depicting a glimpse into the pre-colonised past of India with a breeze. Knotted tube with cowl back add to the charm. Linear thread work add a path in the silhouette. Paired with The Gul Fabric Necklace, the look symbolises compassion.
The entire piece is handspun, hand-woven, and dyed with plant-colours, giving it the rare look of raw extravagance. It's limited edition couture, made only on order.
2. Kala cotton is a variety of dry farm cotton that grows in drought prone and pesticide free areas only.
3. The yellow Batik used wax to resist in hand-block printing and 95% of it recycled for future use.
